cuz i need hood protectors. if im gonna spend a few bills on a clear bra. might as well spend the similar amount for a cf overlay. heard they kinda work the same way... someone pls confirm this for me.

well you COULD spend a similar amount for a cf overlay. you COULD.

or you could spend $50 for black vinyl top and save yourself a few bills.
if you want to *protect* your hood, who cares whether its vinyl or if its fake cf? both provide the same level of protection and are equally rice. i daresay cf overlay is even more rice. and lastly you should keep in mind that cf vinyl fades over time, matte black vinyl doesnt.

just my 2cents.

thanks man. that actually changed my mind. you are right. if it is just an overlay, why spend so much $$ more just for a cf look?

hmm maybe i will just do my side mirrors then if he can do a good job

lol lol

cuz i want to get a deck lip for the trunk. so i wanna cf wrap the lip and the mirror covers. i think that might look nice. it all depends on prices. if the price is good. i will go for it, if it turns out ugly, i can just simply rip it off.

bump for prices?

I tryed some just to see how well it works and I put a piece on my roof to see how well it will stand up to winter.

did you find it difficult to apply the vinyl over curves? any bubbles etc?

No you just have to take your time and a heat gun help to.
