Progress Rear Lancer Sway Bar - The Parrin GB alternative

As an alternative to the aborted group buy that was set up earlier, this group buy will have a Progress Rear Anti Roll Bar that is confirmed and designed for the Lancer. Currently their is one On hand and ready to go for hdrasta to play with.

Once that is done, 4 units will be secured for those who were forced to abort the Parrin. After these previous group buy people have been served everyone else will have the opportunity to acquire the same item for about the same cost.

Special thanks to everyone for waiting while we put things in order and fire it up again hdrasta pm me when your ready.

Cheers

good question. but I dont want to get into another situation where we are not 100% sure. I would say it does.. perhaps, you can meet up with HDrasta during his install and see if their might be similar mounting points. Logic would say yes, but with Mitsubishi... lol its just too hard to tell

keep ya posted

I typed this on the fly with my cell phone htc but ... if i wasnt clear..

the group buy is for Lancer 2008+ only, RalliArt support is not guranteed, but if he wants to take time and look at the install (if HDrasta is ok with that) Then its him going out and doing it for himself to test the fitment with the help of another club member.

If it were to fit, (hey good to know) On the last group buy we had no independant verification of fitment. If we get that, great

Make more sense?

im down
as I found out the lancer and evo maybe ralliart swaybars are in different positions.
lancers have their swaybars before the rear axle where as the evos have it behind the axle.
ralliarts i have no clue cuz i dont have one lol i would assume it would be the same as the evo but the ralliart has different suspension.

jan_ralliart: I would get under and check if its before then it should fit but u might have a 22-23mm bar anyway

you would think it does fit cuz the ra has the same suspension as the gts , but with mitsu you never know these days , safest bet is to check yourself

even if it was in the same position I'm not sure if it would be a worth while upgrade cuz i can see the RA having a bigger sway then the normal lancers but I dont have a RA so I wouldnt know lol

jan_ralliart: take some pic's and if u can find out what size your's is

infomous: doesnt the RA have AWD tho?

AWD plateform so I am sure there might be difference in that case due to weight changes compared to the GTS. And since the RalliArt is basically a EVO 9.5 baby, it should be expected to have a little more reinforcement.

But it will be good to know one way or another if it can work or not.

its a detuned EVO. the engine can be paired with a 5 speed manual at added cost I believe.

But the traction control and stability system has been lifted straight from the EVO 9.

the one thing that is sad is the fact that they still dont have a 5 speed available, even thou people have been saying they should right from the start.

When we had the ralliart prototype up here last September it had brembos stock and bbs rims stock.
to bad they didn't release it like that, would really been a baby evo.
