i would get a real tune / reflash
spent 6 hours on the dyno proving the difference. mitsu head office says its tuned in a lazy way to meet environmental standards.
also pete from works can better explain their conclusions. on our dyno day, both the aem and injen cai showed zero gain. power showed up 150 km later lol.

Sorry for being a noob but i don't know what the difference between the Canadian ECU vs the US ECU? So the Canadian ECU doesn't read our mods or does it just take time for it to notice the mod. I actually had an issue with my exhaust, My car couldn't go pass 5000rpm when i had my HKS hi power exhaust. But since i took it off about a couple days later i noticed that the car is red lining once again. Does anyone know what the problem is? someone told me something about a rpm limiter on the car, but i wasn't too sure what that was or does.

mitsu canada . defines it as any change to the factory config. (emission system and related components, so that includes the ecu, they told me that even a usa flash can potentially void it. its their polite way of saying dont mess with ur car. lol
weighing the options tho , so with the cdn spec it takes a bit for mods to kick in but they do kick in , so a us swap is kinda pointless , either way youd still be at the same point your at now , cdn spec and get a tune
