~ Dealership Alliance Renewal
In September, we got the gold alliance started in a strange beta experiment, it has successes by saving us money, but alittle bit of confusion at both the dealer level and with many of our members. In an attempt to resolve that confusion, rules and policies about this agreement will be clearly posted here on the forum and on our new website (url soon to be posted)
In the coming days another thread will be posted and stickied. It will include two large JPG images that will be updated monthly. This will show all three dealerships in the alliance. And show what aftermarket goods and services that will be supported and by what dealership.
In regards to the service list
Each dealership will decide what services and what products they are comfy with. For example, 2 dealerships have signed on to limited support of Aftermarket Intake cleaning. The other remaining dealership is still in talks. But in this case they will clean the intake using your own cleaning kit, This is great for those who are unable to get easy access to the filter or just dont know how to properly clean it. Charging 30 minutes labor units. (its the dealers discretion to apply the TLC 13% discount on this item.
In an attempt to make this as simple as possible, we will use the following format
Under Consideration / NA (Grey)
Not supporting the service (Yellow)
Limited Support (Blue)
Full Support (Green)
Followed by the cost where applicable.
Its as simple as we can make it. Things like installs of headers gets more complicated, but the dealers are showing interest in getting their hands dirty with warranty compliant parts
The Product list will be easier, because it will be a picture and discription of the item and either the dealer carries it or it doesnt. In time the lists will be separated for the RalliArt and EVO X, but since we are just starting out their will be alot of overlap with the services any way Mobil 1 Extended Performance and 0w20 / 0w30 oil for example can all go on the same list. Tires as well since the selection is limited to a few brands.
