I'm with State Farm they have been a good company for me so far.

I also wanted to ask if you've gone to court regarding the speeding ticket? It has been my understanding your insurance rate shouldn't go up unles you were found guilty.

ya thats messed up. did u fight the ticket and loose?

i got a 14 and below ticket and my insurance with statefarm was fine. during the whole year of waiting for court as a 20 over limit. that dam avenue road speed trap. lol no signs downtown showing the change of speed when u leave university road.

far as Ive heard 14 or less is considered a minor speeding ticket and you can have 2 on your record without affecting your insurance, i had a cop drop a 79 in a 50 to a 64 in a 50 and my insurance actually went down a month later lol

Think canceling your insurance might have been a bit extreme so quickly, cause chances are if one company held the ticket against you, theyre all going too.... IMO

ask stitch though, he'd know for sure, he's tiny tho, so dont trust him tooooo much lol

^ State Farm is like that, they will drop your insurance for any stupid reason. They somehow classified you as a high risk. Thats the one reason why they can offer such low insurance costs.

Try getting and insurance broker, ive heard they are great for cheap insurance.

I was with state farm, then they found out about my "failure to stop at a stop sign" ticket that i pleaded guilty to for no demerit and a lesser fine..well, my insurance went up from $330 to like $500+ a month..!!!

well, as soon as i found that out..i left state farm and went to Belair direct, now i pay like $258 per month with less deductable than state farm.
