Did you try NJM? They're usually really good (if you have a clean record).

I does not help the NJ has one of the highest insurance rates in the US. The car does not help and your age is also a factor. Getting 1700 a year for your EVO in NJ good luck. State Farm does not give policies in NJ.

Well, if esurance and geico didn't work for you, nothing will.
I was paying $800/year more with NJM than now with Geico and recently did a quote with esurance and it came out to about the same as Geico.
I pay ~ $1100/year for my Evo. It really depends where in NJ you live too.

No harm in trying but I doubt he'll get NJM since he was in a car accident(his fault or not) last year. NJM is really strict with who they have. When I was 17 and on my parents insurance(who has NJM)...I had an accident and they told my parents they would drop them because of me so I had to get my own just so my parents could keep NJM.

I have Geico now but if you think it's too much just continue to call around. Hope you find a good price that you are looking for. NJ sucks for insurance.

You can try NJM. If they take you it will be under NJM Re-insurance for the 1st year or Two.
If you drive safe they will move you to NJM insurance it gets you better rates. After being with NJM insurance for 1 year you will start getting the yearly rebate.
I have an 05 Suby BAJA Turbo and my 06 Evo IX NJM insured fully at 250 deductable rate.
It just under $1,800. a year for full on both and the end of the year rebate was a little better then $200.
