Sprintbooster alternative.

So i picked up a few things from Hybrid-R in Vancouver, and came across this on their site. D1 Spec Throttle Controller. Similar concept, but has 3 modes and is cheaper.

Nice find!

I like to see more competition in this space. under 200 dollars is a good price point.
For guys with the Manual Tranny, they would love this, for the Auto hehe especially on the CVT Lancer, an ECO mode is an slow death to the driver. hehe.

That said Sprintbooster a few months back made the transition to a more sophisticated unit adding the 3 staged setup. Since I already have the original series, I wasnt really interested in getting the updated model.

Hey guys just wanted to give you some info on the d1 throttle controller. Apparently they have had to recall all the version 1.0 for certain models and they are coming out with a 2.0 version im not sure if this includes are cars or not hard to fiind info on these things. Also there is another alternative which is the Blitz Throttle controller.

http://www.blitzperformancesales.com...n/throcon.html

Its the same concept but it doesnt have as many mode selections it has Eco Normal and Sport 1-3 modes.

There is also a supplier in North York going to call today to get some pricing on these units.

got an email from gearheadsonline today regarding the D1 spec unit...
the recall only applies to the version 2 D1 Spec unit for the Honda Fit
it doesn't apply to this unit so i guess mine is just a dud... so they'll replace it
o well... told them how it failed hopfully they'll do some testing b4 sending me a replacment
