cheap 4-wheel alignment?!?

hey guys, does anyone know a place where i can get a 4-wheel alignment for cheap? well, cheaper...

car's pullin to the left - it got more noticeable after i got back from tobermory..I've been bringing it back to the dealership since way back to get it fixed..they said they fixed it but still felt the pull as i drive home from the dealership..and now they won't do the alignment for free since the car has 45000 kms on it..

any help would be appreciated.

thanks!

How cheap are you expecting to get the alignment done for?

Go to an actual alignment shop that will align you to custom spec otherwise any of the chain retailers will just set you within factory spec (like the dealership did) and call it good. If you don't know of any, talk to your local autocross and track guys. I generally pay $60-100 for a custom alignment depending on the car and shop; a lot of times actually cheaper than the big chains.

well anything lower than what they quoted me...
it just kills me to pay that much when i've been asking them to fix it, and they said they fixed it, but really never did and now that the car is over the warranty period (atleast to get the free alignment), they're gonna say that "yes, it's pulling to the side and we can fix it for $150."

Perhaps the pull you experience has nothing to do with with your alignment. Believe it or not your tires may be causing your car to pull. (tire radial pull). Try this on your own if you can.
1 Adjust tire pressures.
2 Cross-rotate both front tires only.
3 Drive your car. You mentioned that your car pulls left. After cross-rotating your front tires; if it pulls to the right now, you have bad tires (tire radial pull) causing your pull. The only way to correct this is by replacing both front tires.
4 Lastly you may have a worn and/or loose steering or suspension componet causing your pull.

If you your alignment has been performed a few times already, either the alignment machine is out calibration or the repair facilty is too lazy to diagnose the true cause of your pull.

Hope this was usefull.

^ yeah..the known pulling for lancers was brought up to me too when i first brought it in to get it fixed..they said it only is an issue for GTS models and since mine was an ES, then it shouldnt be a problem..but they still looked at it (atleast they said they did - idk what the guys in back does to check the problem) and said nothing's wrong with it - and it aint pulling, but when i drove it home, it was still the same (the car had 10-15k that time - still within the "warranty" period to get an alignment for free..so now, everytime i bring the car in for a type be service, i always tell them to check it coz it's still pulling..

2 saturdays ago, i went for a long drive to tobermory - on the way back, i felt the pull to be a lot stronger (car by then had 45k)..so i brought it back in to get it fixed..to my suprise they did notice it - but now they can't align it for free coz it's past the 20k warranty period and is asking me to pay $150 for a 4-wheel alignment..like are u kidding me?!?

so now, i wanna find a place to get alignment for cheap - i dun wanna wear off the rubber unvevenly...

im not sure about it being a part of the tour coz we always drive it plus its not even on the island i think your talking about the flower pot trail, thats different. That tour is expensive now. Anyhow, it used to be free before but now you have to pay $15 per car on the info booth then you just have to drive it. then take the mar lake trail then boom! Grotto.
