Go figure... a politician kept his promise. We no longer have to pay that stupid $60 a year tax on top of the normal car registration fees just because we live in the City of Toronto. It was as a stupid cash grab to begin with... I'm glad it's gone.

 

not to say I am not happy. but when they start carving into things that affect the budget. The last thing I want to see happen is. they did this now. and have to raise property tax 2% more they normally do. lol

 

They give one thing back they will take another back somewhere else to fill the gap.

 

I know what you guys are saying about them taking away a small tax in one area and getting more money from you somewhere else... but hopefully that won't happen here. Rob Ford is all about putting the City on a Financial Diet. I mean he already slashed the Councellor's budget big time and refused to take a pay raise himself.
