Dont Do it at the dealership...TRUST ME! When I was @ Maple we did the first OEM Front Blackout kit on a WW Lancer GTS....

It was terrible, the strip that goes over the front plastic piece isnt wide enough to cover the entire area...the top and bottom had a small white line and the customer complained that we did a ****ty job... As someone who worked at the dealer I Highly advise against the dealer kit... Plasti-dip is the best to use IMO. I believe theres a Thread on a guy who did it either here on evom or the mccc website

I found a few write ups that talk about it: Hopefully these help you. If not, I'll prob be removing my grill when the weather gets nice to redo the plasti-dip because the winter scuffed a tiny spot; not noticeable to others but it bothers me lol, so we could meet up and I can help you remove it, I also got some extra plasti-dip that I wouldn't mind sharing. Anyways here are the write ups I found for you:

I feel like I used a different write up that I can't seem to find, I'll see if I can find it.

That would be awsome, add me up on facebook and ill meet you up at KC when the weather gets better so we can talk about it more. I didn't like the whole part where the guy had to break the plastic clips when he had to pull the grill out. I hope that can be avoided.

My friend plasti-dipped his rims, looks pretty dope. Gotta b careful when puttin it on though, cuz it scratches off easily. Matt black looks nice.

Okay I just went to four different hardware stores in the gta and they had no cans of plasti-dip. I asked one of the paint department guys if he had any plasti-dip and he didn't even know what it was.... FAIL

I still have the extra plasti-dip if you're just doing the chrome trim, it's a full can, and I still have half another can left. I forgot to check the thread lol, but I'll meet up wherever, KC is a little too far for me as I live North/Central T.O. near Yonge/Steeles. We could meet up at Centrepoint mall or wherever really.

home hardware is the only place that stocks it... works well, I did my grill in it.. throw up some pictures after you do it...

I did like 4 or 5 coats on my grill a year ago, put about 20k on my car since, its still looking good...

this is how my grill looks, the center piece below I had vinyled .. http://s1215.photobucket.com/albums/...rent=Grill.jpg
