Removing headlights

Hey everyone I am looking to remove my headlights to bring to Florida with me to get angel eyes installed by AutoMoGlow. Does anyone know a way to do this WITHOUT removing the front bumper?

If not does anyone have a good how to to remove bumper? or has done it before that could help? The only how to's I can find have broken pictures and such.

Thanks again.
Clint

I have removed my bumper atleast 7-8 times now lol fml. But it's the only way to get your headlighrs out! Just remove all the clips under the hood and car also wheelwell then pop out the each side of the bumper. Will take some pressure but will pop out

Yeah I'm excited. Maybe retrofits as well but Im undecided. Any other ideas? Kind of a one shot thing lol. Going to try for AE's I can switch to red as well with a controller. If not I guess just white will do

It looks like Im going to be removing the bumper tho unless there is some secret Which I don't really want to do lol.

Could you take pics when you're removing your bumper? I'm going to have to do so in a few weeks for a retrofit project I'm working on. Saw one thread somewhere with still active pics, but can't remember where for the life of me.
I believe you'll need to remove all clips from under the car, then both wheel wells, and as Go On 3 says, pull the fender out, as well as removing the cooling panel (?) from under the hood. Also, when removing your bumper, I read there's a big white clip holding part of your headlight to the bumper you'll have to reach up and unclip. You can see the tab w/ the rectangular opening at the bottom of the headlight in this pic (the headlight above)

There s no you can remove headlight without remove the bumper
To remove the bumper you have to take out 5 10mm bolts on top, 2 screws on each side holding the fender, plastic clips under the bumper holding the bottom cover n part of the fender liner, then just pull from each side

Doesn't seem too hard ... would I have to jack the car up to remove the bumper? I don't have a driveway or private garage to work in.

Nah you wouldn't need to jack up I don't think unless lifted. Im not just driving there to get angel eyes lol. Im going on a 2 week vacation with family. The install guy is about 20mins from where I'm staying so I figured why worry about doing it myself when I can get a pro

Success! Bumper was removed headlights taken out and bumper put back on. NO PROBLEM! Follow this how to https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/la...r-removal.html and it's really easy. I would do it with a friend like I did but no experience only reading this guide once no problem. Scary but easy lol. VIdeo of the evo helped with the pulling of sides as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjIwA5YLKg0

Yeah I know lol. I was liking the meanness of it too. Maybe I go to shinzo and get some vinyl done. Looked sick on jampy's tails. I would get them to do tails sides and headlights. idk tho.

What's everyones opinion on Blacking out the housing? I can't decide!
Might look tacky on RR. Might do whole reflector too but IDK lol. So undecided!

BY blacking out I mean.....
