Roll Call...
I had an '88 Porsche 928 S4, tuned a lightened a bit for the track.
Out of the box, the Ralliart is a great car, but the brakes are undersized. I have upgraded the brakes, suspension and a few other things and now I'm quite happy with the car. I do miss the wide torque curve of the 928's V8 though.
Originally I had Lancer SE and the 928 back in 2010, but liked what I saw from the Mitsu line so much I decided to consolidate down to one car. Part and labour prices for older Porsches are often as steep as for newer ones, so after so many years I was getting a bit tired of that aspect of ownership as things aged and needed to be replaced more often.
I had been looking at previously enjoyed Evo Xs when I saw the Ralliart I ended up buying. The practicality of the larger trunk and folding rear seats sealed the deal for me, as I was consolidating down from two cars to one. The Ralliart was the colour I wanted, unmodded, and low mileage. Unfortunately the Evos I had seen when I was looking were none of those things. If I was keeping two cars, I would have probably held out longer to find an Evo that matched what I was looking for.
In terms of handling, the Ralliart is much easier to drive quickly than the 928 (heavy, RWD and no traction control) and is much more forgiving. However, it is good to learn to lap a RWD car though with no traction control, as any mistakes in technique become obvious very quickly

Oh for sure! I never tracked my rsx-s but drove the **** out of it, cant believe how easy it is to drive a AWD car lol, I usually take my TC off when im lapping, " DDP I was drifting one of the coroners through the day with 417whp and 350tq,... Its going to be scarry this season with 550whp and 458tq lol.. C16 costs way to much money to run " all the track days, think Ill just run my pump tune and work on my skills with that this year, maybe try the c16 in the 1/4 mile just to see what she does
Wow, that's a lot of ponies to have on tap!
