I'm just wondering when to change the fuel filter. I checked the maintenance manual and didn't find it there. I'm at 50000km now.

 

I'm not sure how accurate this information is, but I was told by service manager at Scarborough Mitsu that the fuel filter in my '09 Ralliart is lifetime. If that is the case, I would think that would be the same for the Lancer GT.

170000 Kms and ive never changed it.

 

Doesn't hurt to change it anyway. If access is easy (cheap labour and part) why not.

 

maybe ill change after 100000km.

 

Probably when I'll do mine if its not too much of a hassle. Mind you on My old 94 lexus before I got rid of it I had to change the fuel filer due to rust which caused a leak at around 260 000 km.

 

I don't believe the filter can be changed. If someone can verify that it can, please post a pic and part #.
