Question Recommended for custom tune

To get the most out of my custom tune coming up I have a few questions.

1) I have stock intake with cone filter, should I get the RnR intake pipe?

2) Is there anything else I could use to get the bet power gain and the safest tune?

My mods are; greddy ebc, 3" turbo back with hi-flow cat, fidenza flywheel, walbro fuel pump (255), mr bov, hks 264/264, and arp studs. Others mods such as clutch, short shifter and bushings I don't think matter. TurboTrix please reply as well as anyone else. Thanks in advance

i would try and get rid of the cat, that is biggest HP robber on the car. Random Technologies has the best high flow ( IMHO ) but to have none is your best bet. Some people take a pipe and weld a shield on, its up to you. I would stick with the cone filter ..

I think he already has a hi flow cat. I heard someone on this board say that their Random Cat is throwing a CEL after some use. Probably won't pass emissions. Try the Helix, it is fully polished and is tested to pass even California's strict emissions. Haven't heard anything bad about it. I almost thinking about sticking with stock cat and 2.5 inch downpipe, when I heard all these 3" hi flows going bad over time. Until I came upon Helix. Now I just might go 3" downpipe all the way back.

Going back to the first original question, do you think I should get a intake pipe or just leave the stock rubber hose in place? I know you said stick with the cone filter, but should I add a intake pipe. For example rmr, cusco, buschur or rnr? Thanks

i have the helix cat. after having it on for like 3 weeks the car started throwing a cel code P0420 which cat low efficency. i did the mechanical fix with the anti fouling adapter. no cel for a week now. i just thought you should know this since you are thinking about getting it.

THAT"S JUST GREAT! Now is there any 3" cat that won't throw a CEL? Looks like I am gonna have to stick with the stock cat and get a HKS 2.5 downpipe.
