Help me out Turbo Trix!

I was at the shop last thursday, got a whole bunch of sh*t installed.

downpipe, test pipe, 272/272 cams, arp headstuds, walbro fuel pump, lower intercooler piping, hallman mbc, and an ecu reflash.

Now i was supposed to have an HKS RS intake installed also, but i got screwed on the shipping and it didn't come in till the day AFTER i go my work done at turbo trix.

TurboTrix did a phenomenal job making power out of my evo. I'm lovin it, it pulls beautifully.

Now 2 days ago I decided to intall the intake on the car. It was a b*tch to install but we managed to get it done. We reconnected the battery and let it idle for 15mins. Now that first night i had the intake on the car it sounded beautiful and ran reallly nice. Same thing the next day.

I only had one complaint, but it doesn't have anything to do w/Turbotrix cz they didn't install my BOV. (greddy type-s).
What would happen is that after the "whoosh" sound it would make a wierd sound, kind of like a metal gate closing or something, like a "swinging" noise. Also it would very lightly flutter in 5th gear.

Now this morning, after clearing all the snow off my car I got on the highway and i'm trying to accellerate in 5th gear and it starts flutttering really bad, and the car "stumbled". It kept doing this, and also the car didn't seem to pull as hard (in any gear) as it used to, 2 days ago.

I duno whats wrong. What can I do to fix this? I know turbo trix is booked till the first week of january, but i'm leaving the country for 4 weeks, starting from the first week of january, won't be back till the end of the month, so I probably wont be able to get in to TT till february.

So in the meantime, what can I do to fix the situation? I know i have to adjust the bov settings, but i duno whether i should loosen it or tighten it. And I think TT will have to tweak the ECU reflash to compensate for the inreased airflow from the intake.

IF you guys can offer any suggestions as to what I can do in the meantime till I can come down to ur shop so u guys can take a look at it, i'd appreciate that.

Again fella's, thanks so much for the work u did on my car, i'm loving it

try disconnecting the battery again and see if the problem goes away, if it does then you know it is goin to be a ECU problem that usually can be fixed. most of the time it is the other way around though. if you install an intake and a BOV and dont disconnect the battery it would run ok for a day then run like crap, but you disconnected the battery, ran good, then ran like crap. if it dosent help then just put the stock bypass back on till you get it back to a shop.

Check all your connections a again, intake and BOV, make sure they are all tight. And loosen the BOV a little bit

Also, my boost spikes near 26psi, and then tapers down to about 23psi.

Is that normal Mark?

measure it by tuning it - go one turn and test the car around the block like in 2, 3, or 4th gear
