I believe with a good tuner, read Mark from TT, you can get the proper numbers.

Here's the graph.

Hey guys, just took the car out for a spin after disassembling the Hallman, like Zeus and I thought the spring had been too compressed for too long with me trying to squeeze boost out of my then unknown but dying turbo. We have some new springs coming in from Hallman but for the mean time I just pulled on mine to stretch it out a bit, man that kind of sounds bad Took the car out for a spin a few minutes ago, you ever have that feeling of weightlessness in your ***** from an elevator or roll-a-coaster dropping too fast? Yeah I just got it on a horizontal axis from my car I gotta go ice this down

Thanks, Mark, Cody, and Jason!

After having problems with the Hallman on the dyno, and only boosting 13lbs on the way home, I went home and took the damn boost controller apart. Finding the loose ports, and giving the smashed spring a little stretch (got a new one on the way), I put it all back together. BAM! After a little adjusting, a sleight spike to just over 22psi, settling to a solid 20psi... The car just rips now... like it should.
Sweeeeet! I was wondering what are went wrong. MBC's are starting to **** me off.

i still don't understand.how in the hell can a company get away with charging 100 dollars for an adjustable valve, and they actually have problems!? thats it. i am going to fab up my own MBC and sell them for 50, and they will work 10x better then any other MBC.

i bet hallman has a 300% (or more) markup on those things. we are seriously suckers for paying that much. anyone have a broken hallman they want to donate to me so that i can disect it and see what type of valving they use?

They use a flex valve fused through fission. They dissect subatomic particles to force coagulation of the metallic molecules creating a pressure differentiation. Does that justify the price?

Yeah, what he said.........and my TurboXS uses the same, but it has a difibulator in it.

I've made 2 different types of MBC's and they both are in my ashtray. If anyone wants to try it out, you can.

only if they use hexagonal close packing within the atomic structure. that would insure a nice strong bonding technique that will not shear when pressure forces are applied to it. and of course the material must have some imperfections because we all know that imperfections in the atomic mesh actually make the material stronger. ok i will stop now.

Only if they use unobtainium as the primary metal!

Ok, let me say this slowly. The malfunction I experienced with my Hallman was due to user error! My old turbo was dying, when I bought the Hallman Pro RX, used btw for $70, I had to tighten it way down and since I had never used a Hallman before I didn't realize that I was going way further with it than you would with one on a healty turbo, I had no point of reference. So I agree, pricing on these is inflated but I have used 2 other no name mbc's in my past and the Hallman blows them away in consistency. Again I understand the workings of an mbc perfectly, but unless I make my own sometime in the future I think I'll stick with the Hallman I have unless the spring gets out of whack on it's own this time around.

edit: not being an ***, just clarifying my problem
