TurboTrix in Texas February 5th and 6th

I was the third tune of the day on sat. scheduled for 12 noon. My evo rolled on the dyno at 12 noon. There is a lot of work in organizing an event like this, and very little recognition. Cody, thank you.
I use my Evo for a very narrow application, and I need a tune with lots of safety margin. I have basically all of the typical mods, with an upgraded turbo, etc. So 345 whp for me is a very conservative tune. Evo texas is putting down 15 more wheelhorsepower than me with a stock turbo!
Jason, our fearless leader was there, and is to be commended for keeping NTEC going. I joined on Sat. I think I am the first NTEC member from Arkansas. If you are from North Texas, southern Oklahoma or southern Arkansas, you should join the north Texas Evo Club. They are a great group of people and a lot of fun to be around.. Thank you Jason for putting in the time and effort to keep this organization viable.
Kevin, It was a delight talking to you. My wife thinks you are great, hope we can take that trip together in april, e-mail us.

I second that. Cody and Jason have done a great job with this club. I haven't been able to do the mods that I want to due to my employment (business being slow), but probably being the slowest EVO in the club right now, I'm still having a blast. Also, thanks to Mark @ TurboTrix for taking the time out of his busy schedule to fly down and tune. One day, I will be getting a tune from Mark once my mods are on my car. Unless, we do the stock - Dynoflash to Turbotrix flash. he he...
I agree, seeing the way these threads keep evolving (no pun intended) I don't blame you. I think without question there NEEDS to be a true shoot out between tuners, that can be independently recorded and verified, only then can all this 'he said, she said' bull **** be laid to rest. Plus it would just be really cool and I would volunteer my car

As 100 octane is generally worth about 20 whp more power - the numbers just dont add up for me. People can believe what ever they want about the numbers.
I leave you gentleman to your own now.

Al, just keep your big nose out of our threads. No one wants to know your worthless opinions about anything.
It was a decent meet. After all Cody still got whooped up on didn't he? ha.

Hey Bryan it sure is nice to be able to roll my windows down unlike your stripped out wondershell of a car....
Yes you're still a TINY bit faster than me, but you can't deny you have made some serious compromises.
Anyways, here's my dyno sheet.

Hey guys. Nice time on Saturday. Good to finally meet some of you and get a hell of good tune. Mods to date are 264i/272e, 3" RmR downpipe, Helix 3" Hi-Flo cat, B&B 3" Cat back, Greddy Profec B Spec 2 @ 21 psi, HKS intake; Forge BOV, Walboro fuel pump, Pro-1 Exhaust manifold.... very happy with the numbers that I got. The base line with all mods and no tuning was 293 hp and ?? torque. Very noticable and very fast. Hopefully it will be nice this weekend and I can get some 1/8th mile times at Seally..... Thanks to Mark as well since he did all the work....
