Thanx,
You need a flash for new cams. This is what was recommended to me by TT.

I was flashed before the cams and at 295.9
After the cam install it dyno'd (same dyno) at 288 for some reason.
Mark (TT) re-flashed and added more fuel to the top end to get the 342.8
I definately recommend getting re-flashed after the cam install.

was just curious cus I'd really like to do cams and flash soon but who knows when TT will be back in town and I would rather not do a mail-in flash cus of course it's not a specific tune. guess i'll just buy them, wait for TT to came back and get them installed a day or two prior

I went with the mail in for the cams I am running. The car hauls butt. I am sure it would be a little quickier with a custom tune. I will do the custom tune next time they are in town. I would rather use the cams then look at them everyday in my house. I would not be able to wait.

Yeah, mine was $300 for a flash and tune before the cams and then $150 for the re-flash and tune after the cams. Definately worth every penny.

I ran cams in my car for about a month after already having it tuned with a SAFC-II. It ran fine and put down 311.6 before Mark tuned it again.
