If you looked I stated that it is a stock motor except hks 272 cams and head studs. I am on my pump gas map during the week and race gas on weekends. There are several people running 550 on the stock motor without any problems.

I do have plans to build my motor, in a couple of months "ole girl" is going up to tt for a build. I think my motor is safe though. If you've done searches you'd find out that people on a stock turbo are just as suseptible to blowing their motors as well. Thanks for asking though.

That'll be me with the stock turbo and blown motor, haha. Really the stock Evo motor is very stout and shouldn't have any problems at 500whp. Unless something goes wrong with your fuel delivery, then you end up like me. All the reason to upgrade.
This kit is definitely a performer on pump gas, but really wakes up on race gas. It is the perfect match for the Evo stock engine platform other than the addition of cams.

Yeah sure barry ....LOL

I told you that you can get the 50 trim when I build my motor in a couple of months. I'm going to have jump up to the 35r to keep up with Henry.

Just might be a good option. I would need a manifold and install kit. I wonder if Mark can include that with my engine build. I will buy it off of you depending on the price for everything. Of course minus the $25 you owe me for the tranny fluid, LOL.

Do you know why you had this problem? I am actually about to go this route with my 50 trim, and I'll would deeply appreciate any information you can give me so as not to have this problem. Thanks.

For some reason his car wouldn't run on the 1000's and the UTEC. Mark tried everything to get it to work. He scaled the injectors in the stock ECU, the UTEC and tried some scaling in both. His car just wouldn't run on them.
I'm running 680's with my UTEC and for some reason the injector scaling through the UTEC really throws off the drivability. I'm going to try to scale them in the stock ECU and leave the UTEC unscaled. Hopefully I can get it to drive part throttle better. If not I'm getting an AEM or I just might go back to the stock ECU.
