Comp cams 280???

http://turbotrix.com/isthebest/custo...6&cat=0&page=1

How do these 280 comp cams compare to Hks 280 cams? Can you use these with stock evo valvetrain? I'm sure the idle is lopey. Can you get these cams to idle like stock with a AEM EMS or other standalone? Any dyno graphs? 40whp seems like a good number and the price can't be beat Any dyno graphs?

Turbotrix says with tuning theyll add 50whp(that was either the 272's or 280's). They also said that they were cheaper than HKS.($440-$480 per set)

Comp cams is a very reputable company that specializes in cams. My buddy insisted on me getting them, but I was like" no, I gotta get HKS", what a mistake I made. I paid $550 for the HKS 272s, and gained 21whp(w/o tune, 43 w/tune), when I could have paid $100+ less and got more power!

I'd like to know if these 280 comp cams will work with the stock valve train up to 7000-8000 RPMs

Thats a good question. I dont know the lift on these cams. Also I dont think revving that high w/out an upgraded valve train with 280s would work anyway(with any cams). I know who does have that info, Mark from turbotrix should know, hes the one I got this info from.

I'm pretty sure all HKS cams have the same lift, regardless of their duration.

Wrong, the HKS 280 exhuast cam has less lift than the 272 and 264. dafarmer is correct.
