Always a pleasure. Sucks you had to go through what you did. You'd think that someone who calls themselves evo specialists wouldnt of put honda plugs in an Mitsubishi !!!!

Yeah you would think he would know the differance. I am really happpy with the tune and the fixes for my issues, also I appreciate how quickly you got me in and out of the shop. Great work!

Glad you are happy Mike, I thought that shop had a 3 day turn around on a stroker install. Yours was 3 months and another shop. So I'm not crazy or the only one after all.

 

How bad was you prior tune. Did your numbers match PDT numbers. Or was it to dangerous to do a Pull with the tune you had from them. Can you tell us what was wrong with the car and why your not happy. I see alot of happy ppl in AZ where happy when PDT left there.

 

The car wouldnt even baseline, it kept breaking up. I think we got 280 out of it.. breakin up. He was told the knock had to be turned off in order for it not to break up. Why i have no idea. The car made 454 on pump gas no meth at 23 lbs .. He has a new map and the car doesnt break up. As far as arizona people .. might want to re-check that

So you say the car was breaking up and got 280whp on a dynojet so how did that other tuner get 431whp on the MD. So the tune was all messed up when you received the car. That is just ridiculous some one would tune a car like that and then say it made this amount of HP. Taking the knock off why would someone do that.

 

No you are not crazy or the only one. More than a few have fell victim to the guys you are speaking of, Myself included.

 

Well let me just say this,

I was driving home from work after I picked up my car from PD(Last week) and it felt like I was running on 2cyl some time and sometimes not (why would you let a customer take the car it it is not running right with the Knock control off. I could not give even tap on the gas with out it misfiring. I was so scared to even drive the car to get it to Mark to get everything checked out.

The AZ people may be happy, If I was them I would get it double checked by another shop.
Evertime I would get it back it was never completed. There was something always not working.

It amazes me that TT can fix it in 2 days-Mind you I did not have apponitment with them when I talked to Mark, he told me to bring it in the next day.

I remember a thread awhile back from you stating that the "other shop" made more power and how happy you were with their tune. Which led you to spend a lot of time and money with them and they treat you like that, I can't believe it man.

I'm glad your car is running good now, sounds like it's a beast!!!
