The price is what I was expecting, it seems that the IX is making so much more power, that tuners are charging more for prices. I wouldn't be shocked if HKS Cams are just as expensive or more for the IX. I'll be buying some (TT Cams) in the near future, for sure.

I think its awesome you guys did your own R&D on the cams and I feel the price is justified.

I was wondering if you guys have done any more tests or tuned any more customers with evo9s with cams? Also, does 9 with ttrix cams sound loopey ?

Pretty newb questions here...

1. I have a full exhaust and a very good road and dyno tune (Works Ecutek). Will these cams run fine on my current map, or will a retune be necessary?

2. How do these cams perform as far as the lower RPM goes? Do you lose any or gain any at/below 3000 RPM?

3. I noticed that you (TT) sell Comp Cams on your website, is that who makes these Evo9 cams for you? Is there any benefit from an adjustable cam gear on the exhaust cam for the Evo 9? How about the high performance valve springs and retainers... are they reccomended with this setup? How much more $$?

4. My Evo 9MR has the basic mods..... full exhaust (02 housing, HFC, Cat-Back). Drop-in Panel filter, bored TB and ECUTek tune. I made like 299 WHP on a mustang dyno. What kinda power improvements (ballpark) will the 272s add to my 9mr? Thanks in advance for the information.
