TT is far from shady. They are one of the best shops on these forums. Stop posting stupid s**t on the forums without first contacting them. Maybe your dad took your car for a joy ride.

TTrix is definately a great shop and loads of great people. They have not earned a good reputation in the past 10+ years for being shady, they have earned it for doing very quality work and taking care of everyone they can.

I have had a lot of work done by TT on both my 2nd gen GS-T and 3rd gen GT eclipses there. They did FINE work on my 2G! My 3G was not as perfect. Now before I get started they did ALOT of work on my 3G.
Bean and Mark did a Super Fine Job installing my Clutch Master Billet ALUMINUM Flywheel, ACT II Clutch (Heavy), and Quaife Limited Slip Differential / New Speedo Gears. Same with my Power Slot stock size cadmium plated Slotted Rotors and Metal Master Brake Pads. (Great Job)
The Supercharger, Headers, and full Length Piller Pod with Phantom Boost and Air / Fuel gaugesinstall was very clean.

Now for the not so good...
02s wired backwards.
Fuel Pump seal ripped.
Black Box (Piggy Back Tuner) connections had not all been soldered.

That was some time ago, a year or two.
TT was having some growing pains in the new shop at that time. They were still putting walls and doors then.

The point is that, "NO Shop is infoulable" I hope you took the time to talk to Jeff or Mark before posting.

No he didn't speak to anyone, and that's why nothing good will come from this thread. It will only serve as a breeding ground for tt haters, and will likely make tt unhappy with him because he never gave them an opportunity to remedy the situation in private.

it probably had been cracked for some time and finally let go.
i know that tt would have addressed the issue if it was obvious.

my jic ti ex. has pretty heavy guage straps that the hangars are welded on to. the straps are then around the pipe in the front and the muffler in the rear. this seems a better way to locate the hangars. if one breaks at the weld, you won't have a hole in your system.
i have seen several systems on friend's cars with the hangars welded to the pipe and muffler break or rust at the welds and leave a hole. maybe the ti pipes have the straps cause of the welding issues, but it seems like a better way to locate the hangars to me.

You should always try to resolve your problem with a shop or vendor before posting negative comments here.

TT are good people. Only complaint is that they never are in a real hurry there (I am always waiting). On the other hand, I am glad they do not hurry through my job.

However, I did, and I look under the car, and right by the muffler, a hanger busted off the exhaust leaving a hole in it. Don't you think you should notify your customer of that? I'm not sure how you wouldn't notice. Im a little disapointed in the dishonesty. I'll be calling tomorow, and hopefully they tell me they can do something for me. Ill post what happens tomorow.
This may be a bit rude but..

1. You should call them BEFORE posting.

2. I sincerely think if they cracked your exhaust hangar, they'd have someone at the shop weld it back up...not a huge job for them.

3. Posting "my father dropped the car off while I was in school...." is just asking for people to rip you apart.
