Stepping up to the TT 2.3 stroker

After some woes with oil consumption and having the guys at TT diagnose my problem, rings it seems. I am now getting the engine stroked out to a 2.3. . I already have their 50trim kit, worked head and all supporting mods. I might get them to throw on a meth injection kit so I can stop running 100 oct gas, but Im still undecided on that. I am excited to see what it is going to do on the street w/ the 50 trim. It should be a beast! I will post the results after I get it broken in and tuned. Its gonna be a couple of weeks before I get it back, cant wait.

Just wanted to update the thread. I picked up the car yesterday, stroked and ready to go. I need to break it in and then head back for the final tune. The car runs very well and is noticeably stronger off boost. All in all Im happy with the build so far. I upgraded from the Eagle rods to Carrillo's, Greddy timing belt and some other misc. stuff. I went with the Carrillos cause the eagles are only rated to 650hp, big *** turbo here I come

Hey Bro,
I have a TT 50 trim BB setup with a 2.3 stroker and meth. inj. wiseco pistons, eagle rods, AEM EMS and a few other goodies all set up by the boys at TT. I wanted a reliable tune. They got me set up at 475whp & 476wtq. Just thought I'd give you something to look forward to

I havent been able to pin point what caused the rings to start passing oil and burning it actually. When they tare the engine down this week I will have a better explanation. Cracked ringland? Scored cylinder wall?

Yeah I was looking at the dyno results you posted and that definitely has me optimistic about the outcome. I cant wait to get it back out on the streets, it should be a blast. Iam also leaning toward the meth injection, seems to be the way to go. My only concern with meth, is equal distribution across all cylinders. Without being directport injected, It makes me wonder if some cylinders are going to get a good bit and the others run lean? Alot of people use it without issue so Im thinking alot about it.

I cant give you an exact number because I got the eagle rods upgraded to carrillo's and I am also getting a couple of other things done, sorry. Your best bet would be to call and speak to Mike he will give you an exact price.
