TurboTrix 20g 11.97@117.6

Started out the car did not want to trap what it normally does. I tried my normal tricks, resetting the ECU, watching the boost when I went down the track. I noticed that the boost was only pushing around 19-20psi, which always happens to me when I drive to Cecil for some reason. Up here in PA I'll have it set to 22psi, and when I drive down there for some reason it always goes to like 18.

So it was pig rich according to my wideband 10:1s at full boost. I tried pushing 22psi but the car started pulling timing, which was because it was so hot, and the car was heat soaked.

So I did what I didn't want to do, and later when it cooled down I wish I hadn't.

I added a gallon of c-16 to my quarter tank of gas, the knock went away and the car started trapping where it always does.

I ran a lot of 12.0x, probably 4 of those, but then I got what I have been waiting for all of this time.

R/T .210
60 1.847
330 5.085
1/8 7.775
MPH 91.72
1000 10.052
1/4 11.975
MPH 117.67

These runs were at 22psi, summer tires, full weight, no alky 1 gallon of c-16 to roughly 4 gallons of Exxon 93 octane.

I'm a very happy camper, had the weather not been so hot and muggy I honestly believe the car would have gone 11.9 on straight pump.

I love this car now....I stage, put my foot to the floor, and my foot doesnt leave the floor until I run through the trap.

Flat foot shifting is my new favorite thing to do.

Congrats on the 11.........BUT>>>

I am confused as to why your ET and MPH seem low for the HP you have? It is not where is should be................ Doesn't make any sense? Please post your time slip, I would like to compare you 60ft, 1/8...ect.

I have run 11.96 @ 114.5 On a Turbotrix reflash, stock cams, stock turbo, pump gas.......ECT. I would love to see what I could do with an extra 96+ WHP that you have.

I dunno how you went that fast on 93 with the stock turbo and stock cams....damn that's wierd, where are you getting your power from?

You're not considering alky as still being pump gas are you?

btw, I posted the numbers from the slip in the very first post.

Yeah, but it's not the setup that's the problem it's the driver and (I think) the tires.

I'm still trying to work the bugs out with both of those issues. If the weather holds we might see some new times, who knows.
