Motor rebuild pics

After 35k miles and on the turbotrix 50trim for 15k miles seeing 30lbs of boost anywhere from 1-3 weekends a month the motor needs to be freshened up. I will post pictures of my progress on the "garage build". I've been working on the car sparingly after work(on most days). Some days I get home and just don't feel like working on it. Thanks to Mark, Bean and Pauly for being my "tech support" LOL. Thanks to Carlos(turbossplancer) for being an extra set of hands for me.
Hopefully she'll be back running soon and doing shows.

Parts on the couch in the garage:

Head off

I need to order a ball hone to give the block a good crosshatch

Dropped oil pan

Crank still looks good

Rods/Pistons/Bearings

Guess i need go get it checked for flatness huh?

I dropped off my head to a place in town that is going to start making cast aluminum intake manifolds for the evo. They already have made IM for the DSMs and are proven to be badass.

Well here are the pics of the progress I made tonight. I borrowed a ball hone from The Brothers Racing today and got started with the block.

Here is a cylinder wall before I started:

Finished

Nice man. I'll be pulling my head off again soon. It may be warped who knows. The gasket is leaking oil.
