Usually the IX fuel pump does not need to be replaced until you need injectors. It is not prone to problems like the VIII has been.

Which bolt ons are you thinking of?

To get the most out of your car when you get tuned its a good idea to have that extra flow capacity so you're able to tune the car more aggressively while still having a larger margin of safety. For $90 it should be a no brainer!

I have yet to see or hear of one fuel pump in the IX failing so it is probably unecessary. This is not the case with the VIII.

All tuners do things differently though.

Really???? Any tuner out there can say that the IX really doesn't need a fuel pump for a tune?

I'd be interested to know the answer to this question also. Does anyone know the flow rate of the stock IX fuel pump, versus a Wallbro?

I had read somewhere that the stock IX pump flows 220 lph But I couldn't find anything to verify it.
