[Sale] $500 LA, CA
[Sale] $500 LA, CA
Hi everybody,
I've been a lurker on this forum until now...
I paid a $500 deposit for a spot on the Evo wait list at the biggest Mitsubishi dealer in LA. I am #4 on the list, and I just found out that I will be stationed in Germany for four years. Unfortunately, this means that I would lose my deposit unless I found somebody to transfer it to. I don't want to make any money on it, I would just sell it for the deposit amount. The dealership locked the price of the Evo at MSRP.

Hey look I just moved from LA to NY and I am the Internet Sales Manager at Mitsubish here in Yonkers NY but I was a Finance Manager in So Cal up until November 2002 when I moved to NY and I hate to brake it to you but you are getting screwed if you don't get your deposit back. Go to the dealership and demand the money, if they dont give it you threaten them with the DMV. Cali has a 3 strikes your out between DMV and dealerships so by threatening them with that you threaten to take their license. They have enough people on their list it should be no problem for them to refund your money

Yonkers Mitsu make's a valid point man plus tell them your situation, about you being in the military and leaving for Germany if they don't listen then well then we could always balcklist them we have the power. we really do.
no offense but black listing is going to do nothing, especially in LA, heres the thing people there have money and they don't search the internet, the only reason I am even on here is b/c I get payed to be. If you want results DMV shutting down the dealership is going to hurt them a hell of a lot more than putting their name on some list via internet
Hi everybody, thanks for the suggestions.
I went back and the management had changed; the new folks are really understanding and nice, and promptly refunded me. I definitely recommend them if you're in the market for an evo... Also, they're selling the evos for MSRP now.
