Update.

The replacement fittings for the PCV is finished and now included in all the kits that get shipped. The fitting is also available by itself for anyone wanting to vent the valve cover to atmosphere or to an existing catch can without using the ugly restrictive PCV.

This new billet aluminum fitting presses into the valve cover in place of the factory PCV.

They are $29 if bought seperately but are included in the catch can kit.

David like you said its up to the customer if they want to drill the valve cover and such.

I thought of an idea. The new fitting you just posted for the pcv removel is awesome. But maybe you can make an option on that instead of the nipple part you can have a 6an threaded part on it. Like the best of both worlds. I don't know its just a thought so some of us don't have to drill and tap that part of the valve cover.

Why does this catch can have both the inlet and outlet ports located on the bottom of the can? That's where the oil accumulates, this doesn't make sense to me. Plus there's a breather on top which would remove any sort of vacuum that's being made by the Intake ???

The oil return to the pan is on the very bottom of the can. The two inlets are towards the bottom on the side to keep the oil as close to the bottom of the can as possible and not blowing out the breather.

Does this setup eliminate the non PCV vent on the valve cover that leads to the intake tube? Are all lines/clamps included? Detailed instructions included?

The instructions can be found on our website. We are posting all instructions there in one large informative thread with pictures. Yes, everything needed to install it comes with it. The tube on the valve cover that normally goes to the factory intake pipe is routed into the Oil/vapor can too.

Just bumping an old thread, looking for a catch can solution in the near future, have you had them fitted to any RHD cars successfully?

Cheers
Ben

It can only be mounted in the general area that it is now. It needs to be fairly close to the dipstick. Not sure if it will work on rhd.
