Graig, Manie took a few pictures of me sporting my Spark Tech t-shirt at CFT today. He said he will be sending them your way.

Great to hear...thought you left for Cali already. I wish I knew you would have been there. I've got to go to Orlando on Monday, would have came down today. I've got to drop off some goodies for Most Wanted's build. Did he fire it up today?

I leave Thursday for Cali. No, still some loose ends to tackle. Looks real good though. The guys said it will likely hit the rollers on Wednesday.

Nice work, as usual! I need to get with you soon about a rotary ignition. No one really makes a good ignition for the older RX7s. I always went with Crane ignition and built my own. This was always the case 400+ hp rotaries that I build.

Sorry to go off topic......great job.

Thanks for the compliment. We appreciate all the support we have received. The Evo community is largely made up of GOOD PEOPLE. Feel free to give us a call and we'll discuss the correct system for your application...We are Spark Tech Ignitions...not Evo Ignitions We are constantly adding more applications to our line. We are starting development on our S2000 cop/cdi on one of our dealers 600+whp S2000 then we are onto to the Subaru WRX cop/cdi.

I've personally owned 6 rotary powered cars one of which was a street ported 13B with a supercharger. Crane Cams is about 10mins from us here in Daytona Bch. Actually we have worked closely with Crane over the last 10yrs as my old 1G Talon was used to test bed the DIS-2 for the Talon/E/L applications(1997'-2002). We also corrected a wiring error in the instruction documentation 2days prior to them releasing their first shipment. That was over 10yrs ago ...Time sure does fly.

Since we specialize in ignition systems we vow to leave NO stone unturned. I've heard SEVERAL tuners say there is no power to be gained by adding a stronger ignition system, if the car is not breaking up or missing. What they fail to realize there is also more benefits to other than WOT. Sure stock coils with severely gapped down plugs can make 600+hp...it's been done. The driveability will be very poor due to the very small plug gap needed to to keep it running at WOT. It will also be very inconsistent in cooler temps as the air is more dense. In essence it will miss fire at the worst possible time...during a race .

Our newly designed EVO X COP/CDI system on the Big Valley record setting evo X. Made 15whp & 17ftlbs Torque on the same boost and tune that it won the 2008 Buschur Racing shootout Evo X class a few weeks prior. This car recently ran a 10.79@124 which makes it the fastest stock appearing Evo X. More proof..of increased power from a well designed ignition system. We also recently got a phone call from one of our new customers with a VERY FAST stock appearing Turbo car. He was amazed...he picked up 35whp by switching from a HKS Dli to our Pro system with cdi. Track times coming SOON.. Recently this non-cdi system was the subject of attention and was independently tested against the HKS DLI.... back to back dyno testing. Our entry level C.O.P system outshined the DLI.
There are lots of 500-750whp evo's that have in excess of 50K in their car that utilize the DLI...some that swear by it, that would benefit from our non-cdi system. Far less our CDI based systems Imagine the gains... 35whp at that level is HUGE.

Looks like one of these will be in my future.

Will this require a retune?

^Retune won't be necessary but could be beneficial.
