STM Spring Open House / Dyno Day (4-25-09)
We are getting ready to promote our first "official" STM Spring Open House & Dyno Day!
We have had insane turnouts the last few times we did these big meets and we are looking at well over 200 people this time around!
- 3 dyno pulls for $75.
- AWD, FWD & RWD. Cars only this day. (no trucks or bikes)
- No tuning this day.
-Food & drinks.
- After 6pm (or once all the cars have dyno'd) the highest Horsepower car of the day will get their $75 back!
We will be cooking on the grill all afternoon and you'll see all kinds of cars, but usually the DSM/Subaru crowd dominates.
If you need a tune before this event, PLEASE call and schedule an appointment as we will probably be booked the week before.
We have a very large, secluded parking lot and we will ask that when you park, please do so in an orderly fashion!- Try and keep things straight for people wanting to take pictures. If you drive your beater PLEASE park further out than the "pretty" cars.
Very much appreciated.
There is plenty of room for truck and trailer parking.
We will plan on a rain date for Sunday April 26... and if that looks ugly, we will keep you notified.

Haha! Thats great! We definitely need some quirky decal for the dyno! 
I know it's a long drive for alot of you, so I'm going to make sure we have at least 1 web-cam hooked with a live feed! We did that last time and it was a ton of fun as viewers can post comments right alongside the video!
Maybe one fixed on the dyno and one outside on the parking lot.

This is going to be a HUGE turnout! I wont be surprised if we see over 500 cars throughout the day.
A heads up to the Evo's... If you want to be on the dyno, you'll need to have your under-tray OFF BEFORE you are ready to get on. We just want to be fair to everyone else who is ready and waiting!
Emery went so far as to fly a great friend/customer (Nick "yucki") from North Carolina in for the weekend: I thought it was very nice of him and wanted to share:
So when you see Nick... give him a big congrats as he is a new Daddy again!

Emery went so far as to fly a great friend/customer (Nick "yucki") from North Carolina in for the weekend: I thought it was very nice of him and wanted to share:
As many of my friends here on Purity know I stand behind Emery and Shawna at STM. I believe that they are good people and that they actually care. Emery has gone above and beyond to help me and even as far as to teach me a few things to make me a better DSMer. Everything I have learned I have tried to pass on to this community. Anybody here who appreciates my input should thanks STM for what they have done for me. I would not be where I am without Emery and Shawna. Thanks STM.
With all of that being said I consider Emery and Shawna to be friends before a vendor. I now have a feeling that the feeling is mutual even more. I really wanted to go to the Dyno day they are throwing this month but as all of you know my family has grown again and I couldn't bring myself to spend the extra money. Emery from STM contacted my wife Robin(mzderrick) and put a plan into motion yesterday.
STM is flying me in for the dyno day they are having. It almost brought me to tears after I got the confirmation email that was sent to me after they booked my E-tickets. I hope that STM knows what this means to me. I will be there for the weekend hanging with Emery and Shawna and the crew that makes up STM. WOW guys I don't know what to say.Except,
Thanks Guys and Gal, it is nice to be able to deal with a shop and know that the people that work there and/or own the shop are human beings. I will actually be flying for the first time in my life to go hang out with these people. They are top notch and I won't forget this. We are already tracking the weather for the 25th and so far it looks very promising! In a few days, there is a storm coming through, then looks like it'll be clear by the weekend. 65 and sunny... I won't be surprised to see over 500 people... maybe more.
