A hotter gas will always travel faster than a cooler gas, which equals more power out of your setup.

Not simply a "theory" as we've worked closely with Force-Fed Performance to prove this works.
Thank you for the explanation makes perfect sense, I just wasnt sure if it was a heat coating or maybe something to help with carbon buildup on the pistons. Have you ever had any problems with the coating flaking off after time?

Carlos,

PM price for set of evo 8 Calipers coated in the candy blue with metal/silver logo as well as a valve cover in the candy blue.

Prefer to do the "exchange program" on the calipers. I am ready for business...if we can avoid the downtime How much for the coating and how much more if you rebuild also?

Shipping would be to maryland, 21042.

Thanks!
Trent

It will be getting close to summer once it's completed. Right now we are looking at the small details and making sure we didn't miss anything. All the carbon fiber parts are getting re-cleared, brackets are getting powder coated, wheels getting powder coated. Still a ton of work left!

One of the questions we get asked the most: How well does the powder coating hold up on calipers?

How well does our powder coating hold up on calipers? The very FIRST set of Evo calipers we coated back in late 09' are holding up excellent! Our customers very own words:
"The calipers are still as new as the day I received them in the mail man, very exceptional work, I highly recommend anyone to call Carlos at Tirado Custom Coatings. 100 thumbs up!!!! I do daily the car everyday around 40 miles a day and track the car twice a month, no burns, no fades, no cracks nor chips, awesome work.
