Heat from the combustion is reflected back into the combustion chamber and out your exhaust ports rather than being absorbed by your cylinder head and pistons. This is perfect for turbocharged engines! Why you may ask? A turbocharger is driven by heat energy, since you are transferring a hotter gas to your turbocharger turbine wheel you will see an increase in spool. A hotter gas will always travel faster than a cooler gas, which equals more power out of your setup.

makes perfect sense, I just wasnt sure if it was a heat coating or maybe something to help with carbon buildup on the pistons. Have you ever had any problems with the coating flaking off after time?

Prefer to do the "exchange program" on the calipers. I am ready for business...if we can avoid the downtime
How much for the coating and how much more if you rebuild also?

Nice job as always Carlos...Collin has my valve cover now and he will be building me a coolant overflow and oil catch can so hopefully you will be getting all that stuff in 2 weeks or so...

How well does our powder coating hold up on calipers? The very FIRST set of Evo calipers we coated back in late 09' are holding up excellent! Our customers very own words:
