Does this replace the need for a double pumper? How is the sound compared to the Walbro?

This pump won't replace the need for a double pumper, but will be a good middle option for those just beyond a 255LPH pump.

...or for those that are wanting to install a quiet, in-tank pump that is E85 compatible.

Interesting...whenever I go e85 I'm still gonna go with a double pumper but this would be a nice pump gas upgrade...looking forward to the price release and some results...

just curious being that you will flow more fuel, a reflash will be needed after upgrading from a 255 is that correct?

If you are running the same fuel pressure, you shouldn't need a reflash. Though, any time you are changing the fuel system, it is a good idea to have the ability to monitor the fuel stats to make sure you are still running within the scope of the tune and safe operating limits.

The DW300 has similar dimensions and fitment to the GSS342, so if the DP setup you are using is designed for that pump or one of similar fitment then the DW300 should fit, too.

FWIW:

No, it won't fit. At least it won't fit a BR Double Pumper. This was discussed today:

Still- this is a very nice option to have
