Thumbs up STM: New product release

The STM Coolant Overflow Reservoir is made in-house of aluminum and utilizes brass fittings, stainless hardware and high-quality silicone hose. This design places the Reservoir between the intercooler and radiator allowing you to completely remove your stock, plastic overflow from the engine bay. The welded bracket allows you to use existing bolt holes, so no drilling of the car is necessary.

- Welded Aluminum Body (Mirror Polish or Black Anodize +$15)
- Brass and Stainless Hardware
- High-Temp Silicone Hose (4 foot)
- No Drilling Nesessary for Mounting
- Evo VIII-IX
- Frees Engine bay Space
- Made in the USA

As always, Thanks for your support!

-STM

A/C has to be removed to mount the overflow tank, correct?

The guys are debating that RIGHT now... They can go put one on my car and find out for sure!

...and NO.

THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH AIR CONDITIONING.

Sorry guys.

Sorry guys, This will not work with AC, As far as topping it off would be pretty easy. You can simply fill the radiator all the way up and let it drain into the catch can until it overflows. Once it overflows it is full. This is designed to be a very simple part to keep the price low but we can always add options to it such as a sight glass and coolant cap.

Thanks again

Why would you want to move this into the airflow path for the intercooler and radiator?

Its behind the intercooler, and is barley blocking any airflow to the radiator. Good product stm!

Air going into the intercooler has to come out of the intercooler, so blocking airflow behind it still results in a decrease in over airflow through the system. Blocking the radiator still interrupts that airflow and on a track car every little bit helps. Your "barely" might be the difference between a track car overheating in its race and not. Probably won't matter at all one a daily driver but it's a tradeoff regardless.

My question here was more to understand why would you move this at all? Is it just to make the engine bay more "tidy" and appealing to the eye, or is there something else I'm missing?
