MAP Turbochargers Official Release / Beta Testing Program
^I believe if any of the companies that currently offer stock frame turbos could do BB , They would .
Ive heard rumors that MAP is trying their best to produce them , who knows if thats true
If it were i would hope they could upgrade the current EF series to BB .
Then again maybe these dont really need them , time will tell .

Pretty much sold on the EF 3 possibly. All you need to do to make a dbb version is purchase the bearing cartridge, press it on the new shaft and machine the center section. You could just make a journal bearing and ball bearing center cartridge and offer the ball bearing for only a few more hundred dollars . I think you guys would absolutely slaughter the competition doing this not only for the faster spool aspect but the reliability increase as well as the decrease in oil pressure sensitivity making it not necessary to run oil filter housing kit etc. PM'd Make me a dbb EF-3 and consider it sold
.
Too bad it's not that easy, other things need to be done to make it work, Owens Developments has it mastered.

If only it were that easy. Were speaking small shafts here with high shaft speeds and requesting a bearing to handle high load with small size. We have been working on ball bearing turbos for over a year now and have had good results and information. But we want to knock it out of the park when the time comes, so R&D continues on.

!
Worked on Spool , and driveability , Sad to say tuning got ruined by 100% humidity in the form of rain.
I'm not gonna post a halfass DynoGraph .
My car is a stock block , Bolt on car.
I will say it cracked 39x WHP on 93 octane at 27 PSI Through VD. And in 3rd had full boost before 4k
4TH had it by 3600 .
Timing hasent been bumped up yet , and fuel is around 11.2 So theres plenty left .
The heavy rain made it in my open filter and started messing with the MAF signal so i gave up for tonight .
I need to boost leak test the system (I'm pretty sure i have one somewhere Or the DV is leaking) , and put on some normal weight wheels instead of the sumo weight Rotas.
Sorry for all the waiting , but i like to be thorough.
And create anticipation HA!
Hope this helps a few of you out.

Yes I'm excited to see what it can do. I know Tom is wanting to see what it can do as well. We talk all the time about is it there yet, is it there yet hahaha.
