Nice work. Is the ef2 much bigger than the sst turbo? I remember the sst made 490 whp... So both turbos must be close to each other in terms of power output?

I have heard good things about them as well especially regarding their port service quality. I noticed you have fp red in your sig. Just wanted to say If you decide to go the map ef route that would be cool if you could post results from the swap.

I have a GTX3582R turbo, I wonder how they compare to the EF4 turbo. Mine is rated to 700, the EF4 is to 650+, I'd like to get a dyno session to see the difference.

They already had a dyno graph of the ef4, I saved it but I won't post it. Reason being is because they made a little more than 720whp, but they don't want people to be expecting this as the norm from that turbo. They were pushing it past a level they don't recommend(and warranty), but just wanted to see what it could do...

Good question. I want to send mine for this EF2 upgrade. I hope it spools faster.
Made 404whp/334tq at 26 psi but in the colder days of winter.

I'm definately excited to see this line of turbo's! The EF2 seems like the turbo that I would want for my power demands/needs. My question though is what does MAP recommend & what would the engine absolutely NEED as far as supporting mods go to maintain longevity? What boost level is the EF2 recommended to be run at for peak efficiency on stock 2.0L displacement, pump gas, full street setup?

I know it has been said these are built in house. But were are the parts made? Are these "chinese" parts?

I believe he is asking where some of the raw material / casting comes from as we are not and have never claimed to be a foundry We searched extensively prior to the launch of this program for suitable suppliers of these components (with a focus on quality, cost, and supply capabilities) and ended up with vendors all over the world ranging from Taiwan to the United Kingdom and several places in between. We made some interesting discoveries along the way and based on those discoveries we realized that the world of turbocharger components is a tight knit community with several parties sourcing products from the very same supplier. Rest assured our turbo program features the same focus on quality that you have come to expect of MAPerformance over the past few years, I guarantee it!

All three variations have upgraded turbine wheels, although a fourth variation with a compressor wheel upgrade only is in the works

The EF2 will yield about 5-10% more power than the old SST.

The EF2 has been the most popular thus far so we will have hopefully have some third party feedback in the near future In regards to what we recommend I would say intake, exhaust, FMIC and fuel system at a minimum.
