NEW MAPerformance Firewall Heat Shield for your EVO X

That's right! You guys wanted it and asked for it! THIS is the solution to all that heat being generated by your aftermarket go fast goodies!

After receiving several inquiries for a firewall heat shield we decided to make our customer's dreams a reality! This unit replaces the stock heat shield for additional protection (especially for those of you running tubular exhaust manifolds) and features a high temp black powder coating for longevity and enhanced appearance. At just under 5lbs it doesn't add much weight either!

ALSO I would like to get some feedback from you guys! Do you think this is enough protection? Do you want even MORE? I mean the sky is the limit!

Perhaps something like this:

We will be doing an install here shortly on Chris's EVO X so I will be happy to update this thread when that happens!

Please contact us for unbeatable pricing on these products, also keep in mind we will match or beat any competitors pricing on so called "package deals"!

I'd like to see some installed pics to get an idea of what it looks like when installed. Also, adding the reflective coating from the link is probably better than just leaving it black.

The black is ceramic coating, not just bare metal or paint. Pictures coming soon after we get it installed on Chris's car.

How many engine parts need to be taken out inorder to have enough clearance to install this piece?

A nice manifold heatshield that bolts up to the stock manifold and turbo, but works with your o2 elim downpipe would be a cool addition too.

So is the suggestion to run this piece along WITH the factory heat shield that is on the manifold?
