I don't think it's going to be needed. Working on the tubular chrome moly rear subframe with bolt in 9inch IRS. We already have the set up for Supra done, and now Evo is next.

Nice step over... are you guys new to machining?

Should've stepped up and bought a 5-axis, makes that 3-axis work look like a chump did it.

I dont want to be a Debby Downer but if you just finished cutting this shouldnt you test it out on a car? Or do some type of test? 3500.00 is a ton of cash for something that just looks pretty.
Maybe you did some test and I missed it?

Very nice piece. I can't imagine how much time was spent on cad. From the pics you posted up it looks like the fracture started to propagate on the tranny case and not the bellhousing case.

The tranny case is what should have been made or strengthened. Although the billet case will hold the tranny case together better. It's hard to say what will happen next time out. It should be interesting.

We will put up the install pics shortly. The test vehicle is our 1000awhp shop car and our sponsored Time Attack Evo. One is a traditional trans and the other is a dogbox.

It actually split 5 directions from the shaft and fractured the case in every direction from there. We believe the point of which you speak is the end point of the split on that level.
