Hello from Motovicity Distribution - New EvoM sponsor!

Hi Everyone.
My name is Scott Cole and I’m the Brand Manager for HKS, Kelford, and Quaife at Motovicity Distribution. I’m also a new Evo X owner and EvoM sponsor so I wanted to take a minute to explain my industry experience, my current job, my car, and what I plan to do here.

Motovicity Distribution is a 100% wholesale distributor. Motovicity does not sell any retail, which means most of you have probably never heard of us. And we’re 100% OK with that. Motovicity’s business model is to supply the shops you buy your parts from, and that’s it. This means we can’t & won’t ever compete with our customers (the shops you buy your parts from) for your hard earned dollars, and our customers tend to like that, so we don’t plan on ever changing.

Motovicity Distribution is the exclusive US importer for HKS, Kelford Cams, and Quaife Engineering. So any shop in the US that sells those brands sources the product from Motovicity. My role within Motovicity is to provide tech support for those brands to our sales reps, their customers (the shops you buy your parts from), and the enthusiast directly. I make sure we keep the right amount of inventory on the shelf and assist with marketing efforts. I give our sales reps product trainings, and I get to travel to a lot of shops and events. For the manufacturers, I report enthusiast feedback and US market trends, make new product recommendations, and assist with new product development. I’ve been to HKS and Quaife and witnessed products going from print to prototype to production. Quaife’s new sequential trans for the Honda K-series is one example. It’s not a bad gig and I love what I do.

Prior to joining Motovicity in 2011, I spent 10 years at Kinsler Fuel Injection doing sales & tech. I launched the Honda ITB program there in 2006. Engine calculations and tuning are my specialties and passions. I’ve been very fortunate for the opportunities I’ve experienced in this industry and I can’t imagine doing anything else. Earlier this year I was trained with HKS’ tuning staff on their new EasyWriter software and we’re about to put a F-Con on my 2013 Evo X so I’m really anxious to dive into that. We’re also installing Kelford 214-B cams and a Quaife front LSD, amongst many other HKS upgrades so stay tuned for a fun build thread in the near future.

“So that’s great n’ all, but what am I doing here?” I’m here to give you, the enthusiasts, a direct connection and point of contact for HKS, Kelford, and Quaife. Due to their locations across the globe, communication from the US can be challenging. Though I don’t handle any sales, I can provide educated product recommendations, specs, instructions – any tech support related to HKS, Kelford, and Quaife.

I’ll keep you guys updated on things like the new US website we’re coordinating with Quaife [www.quaifeamerica.com], as well as HKS and Kelford – both having some really cool things in the works I’m anxious to talk about.

In closing, I’m happy to be a new forum sponsor and look forward to working with you. Feel free to get in touch anytime.

Best regards,
Scott Cole

Hello and welcome!

HKS at one point made some camber/caster plates for Evo 8/9.
I saw them on display at Sema several years ago, then HKS dissolved their US headquarters, then I never heard about them again.

How can I obtain a set of those camber/caster plates?
Here is a photo.....
