Does the manifold in this thread look like a top mount manifold to you?


Also, they released this a tad over a month ago, and have been building a new race/street car during that. Something tells me this will get tested when someone buys one and when STM tunes the car it gets purchased for, they'll probably do back to back comparison...

 

Correct, this is the stock replacement manifold. Not our top mount kit. We have a local customer installing one of these very soon and will have results.

Wow tough crowd to please ..

I finally got around to have mine installed and it looks great. I will be getting tuned soon and will post up numbers comparing this manifold vs my stock one. Overall my car idles a lot smoother and I can tell its a lot smoother thru the gears. I also had the STM downpipe/02 atmosphere dump installed as well and I'm very happy with both products.

 

Tough crowd because people are asking for dyno results for a $1,100 manifold?

 

I wonder if u jump into threads to bust ***** or you're showing real interest Forums are full of people that do that. I'll post dyno sheet once tuned and see what that will do for you

 

I've probably spent over $1k on misc parts from STM just in the last month alone.... I think this looks like a quality piece I would just think that a shop like STM that has 2 very well built evo's would have the dyno data prior to release...

 

Any more pics of this in your engine bay with your hood open?

 

We have not had a chance to test these on one of our cars yet. They are made the same way all of our other manifolds are made that work extremely well. We have sold a bunch of these already and are waiting on personal customer feedback as well. One thing i can say is that, all of the customers who have purchased these are very happy with the quality. Just like all of our other STM made parts, we stand behind them and run them on our very own shop cars. Feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns.
