STM ***new product release***
****Now added to our online catalog***** http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...drivetrain.htm This product is meant to be preventive maintenance for anyone that has an Exedy multi plate clutch in an Evo 8 or 9. We used a makeshift part that did the same thing this does all last year. With our meticulous attitude we decided to make a better looking and more adjustable part and offer it to everyone. Before this part we were replacing the clip every time we went to the track. All last year we ran this in our record breaking stock block Evo and never once had another issue. The concept is real simple, It does the same thing the extra wave springs do but with a little more authority and on the back side of the clutch fork. I was going to wait until friday when our shipment of the actual parts will be here, But I wanted to get the word out a little sooner. Today we got the rapid prototype back from the machine shop and test fitted it. Here are some pics of what we have come up with. On to the pics. http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co..._fork_stop.jpg http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...fork_stop2.jpg http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...fork_stop3.jpg http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...fork_stop4.jpg -Made of Billet aluminum right here in Rochester, NY -Includes two Grade 8 zinc plated bolts for further adjustability -Saves you lots of time and money pulling your tranny out because of hard/fast shifts -Installs in minutes These parts are going to retail for 75.00 shipped and will start shipping on Friday. Pre orders can be taken over the phone and through paypal. These will also be added to our online catalog at www.stmtuned.com in the near future. Paypal address is Sales@streettunedmotorsports.com. If you decide to take that route please let us know what the payment is for in the comment box. As always, Thanks for all of your support! -STM |
nice part EM. ill need one when my car gets up there on the 7th.
So this prevents the fork from fully extending? It's a stopper?
This part works great, I've been using the TurboTrix one for years.
this interests me...I'm just curious of the advantages of this? does this prevent the clutch fork from slamming back further than it's supposed to between hard shifts? if so what happens when the clutch fork slams back to far?

Only good for exedy?
The Exedy's are the only ones with the known issue. if another clutch does the same thing, This should work for it as well.

The prototype looks like it's made from Delrin.
