Hi,
With the technology now, most manufactured items are pretty similar in quality, it all comes down to marketing and branding. Our kits are sold for 3-4 times this price through wholesalers, resellers and retailers. So some of those retail HID kits you might see in a retail auto parts shop may be ours and they private label them.
Thanks for taking a look at our HID kits
Michelle

Hi,
Another evo owner just purchased a H11 3000K for his 2003 Evo, since Sylvania doesn't have information on the fogs for the Evo, I cannot assume it's the same.
Just to be sure please consult with your owners manual or call the Mitsubishi dealer. The best way when this happens is to see if you are able to remove your fog bulb and triple check.
If indeed it is, here the link to the H11 3000K
http://www.hidextra.com/HID+Conversi...rsion+Kit.html
Don't forget to input the coupon code: fspecial-m to get $15off the online price.
Thanks~

Hi,
We do not have information on a 2005 Evo fogs, but if you can confirm with your dealer or manual and it's H11, here is the link for your H11 3000K
Please double check with the parts department of your mitsubishi dealer. According to my call to them, the same YR Evo's may have different fogs cutoff with different bulb type and in order to find out, they would need your VIN number. Thanks~

Hi,
Your bulb types are below for low and high beam, you will need to get two separate kits to get HID for both.
2006 MITSUBISHI Lancer Evolution (With halogen capsule headlamps)
Low beam headlamp 9006
High beam headlamp 9005
What color do you want?
As for your fogs, if they originally came only for show, you will need to get the housing from your Mitsubishi parts and know the bulb type in order to purchase a hid kit to work for it. THanks~

Hi Kris,
For low beam, we never recommend to go anything above 8000K, the reason is that the higher the Kelvin (K) the lower the lumen, the dimmer it is, and you will not only not be able to see as well during night time driving, but since the low beam is the main beam you use at night, it's only for offroad and show cars and very intimidating to the cops. We only ship 10000K and 12000K if the customer insist.
So if you want blue with good light output to see well at night, it would be the 8000K, it's WHITE with light tint of blue and less risky on the roads.
If you still want the 12000K , here is the link to your 9006 12000K
http://www.hidextra.com/HID+Conversi...rsion+Kit.html
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Hi Michelle,
I would rather have the beam brighter than lower b/c in San Francisco it gets really foggy, so I think the 8000K is the way to go. How long does install take? Is it something I could pretty much do by myself?
Thanks,
Kris
