So much for that theory:

I just put all season tires on the OEM BBS rims for winter.

While the tires were off, I figured it's time to read the codes off the TPMS labels.
So: First rim: I find the 8 digit hex code (32 bit number).

But ... next three rims: *same* number.
Huh?

All four sensors have the same code?

What's wrong with this picture?

The sensor id number is located on the middle of the sensor completely opposite of the tire valve. It should read ID: followed by a hex code. (if it is an OEM sensor)
