16G same as 20g?!?!?!

ok my cuzin has been havin some problems and i want to see if ne1 can help us out. he has an 04 evo with intake, turboback no cat, intercooler pipes, fmic, fuel pump, boost controller, hks 280 cams, meth, hks dli2 amp. and got tuned with ecutek and made around 370 and 380 trq on a dyno jet. The problem is that he bought a evo 9 20g and got a ported stock manifold and an o2 housing and installed everthing goes back and gets retuned and only made 7 more whp and 9 pounds of trq and switched to the big meth nozzle. can some 1 tell me how a 16g with 9.8 makes same power as a 20g with a 10.5 and mind u the car was tuned by the same person. we came to the conclusion that the car needs bigger injectors and are gonna try it but the tuner says that the injectors are not the issue. how is it this car doesnt make the power and so many countless other evos with 20gs make close to 450 whp? ne help would be great and sry for my writing methods im lazy.

If he got the 6-blade 20g, then that's why - big waste of money. If he got the 5-blade 20g, then he would have gained 20-30whp at those boost levels...

Normally, a 20g Evo should upgrade the injectors, but the more meth you run, the less injector you need. Your tuner would know if you need to upgrade them or not based on the Injector Duty Cycles?

There are not "countless" Evos making near 450whp with the 20g. Where have you seen that??? There may be 1 or 2 that high, but most are in the 410-420 range and that's with TONS of mods...some even have standalone ECUs and/or built engines/heads. Also, no 6-blade has made good power - the ones above were only 5-blades.
