update: I just confirmed from AMS that my boost gauge reads high and that my boost was set to around 22lbs so I am not going to worry about it.

On a side note: I just started this post to say how much I appreicate the tune from AMS.
I didn't start this thread to compare dyno numbers because just comparing peak HP/TQ doesn't really mean anything to me.
Driveability and reliablity of the tune is what counts for me.

Yes, they both had TBEs, so I don't know what you're getting at. I wasn't referring to your stg1. I was referring to what is stg1 for Evo IXs in general - TBE/MBC/FLASH, which they both had except that Max had a fuel pump, which doesn't make a difference in power. I also said 330-350 was typical for IXs with those mods on Dynojets. I did not say it was typical on your Dynojet. I even had a caveat saying that people tend to claim that your Dynojet reads lower than others. It was deleted, but you can see where 19psi referenced it. Yes, I do have some brains - I don't know why you said that.

Boost is 22 peak and settles down to around 20lbs.

I am completely satisfied with my flash thanks to AMS

It is WHP.
Crank HP will be a bit more than that I believe.

You have a very healthy Evo from the factory. Those baseline numbers are very nice! Ive got the same mods on my 03 and id be happy if i was putting down 250hp. Ill be happy if i put down 270 after i get tuned... The IX's just keep on amazing me... Very nice numbers!

Thanks.
I was very surprised to see it based @ almost 280whp.
I was looking it to base around 260whp or so.
Needless to say, I am very happy with the results.

I think this is all I am going to do to the car as far as power goes.
My car is Daily driver so I don't want to do anything crazy that will lead to driveability issues.

I would love to take the car to a road course and find the car's limit though.
Drag race is not my cup of tea.

Your boost actually settles more to like 18/19. Its really almost impossible to get a stock turbo not to taper off up top.

kinda off topic, but on a evo 9 MR with a tbe, intake, mbc. can you run 23psi safe without a fuel pump? i have heard so many different answers, and i am goin to be goin up to ams in the future to get a tune and was wonderin if i needed to get a fuel pump or not.

Well I would not run 23 psi on pump gas that in itself is a little unsafe. At 23 psi you should be fine but if it was my car I would put the pump in.

we are closed on saturdays so that most likely wont work for tuning.

As far as tuning goes we are about two weeks out right now on tuning.

When you buy a pump make sure you get one with an install kit.
