Why are you only running 23 psi on a IX w/ alky injection? Your HP is about right on Par, but your TQ is massive, esspecially for only running 23 psi.

I see a lot of IX's tuned for 24 psi because of the revised cooling in the head that supresses detonation, and with alky i would expect you to be at 25 psi at the very least...

I think there is more power to be had here.

on a side note: are these sae corrected numbers or uncorrected?

It's my understanding that uncorrected numbers show higher numbers.

No, uncorrected shows actual numbers. They will be higher or lower than SAE (or STD or any correction factor standard) depending on the weather conditions. Correction factors try to bring the numbers back to a normalized area based on an average weather condition such as 75* with no humidity (random example). If the car is dyno'd at 40*, the uncorrected numbers will show true power, but the SAE numbers will show lesser numbers in the attempt to estimate what the power would be with much warmer temps (75*). If you dyno at 110*, then the uncorrected numbers will be lower than the SAE numbers, because the SAE will add power in the attempt to estimate the power levels at a much lower temperature (75*). So, it all depends on the ambient conditions at the time of the dyno pull.

Totally agree...great numbers but with SMC Alk kit, why are you not boosting to at least 27? I boost my IX at 22 - 24 without any problems (knock) and am looking at ALK to get me safely in the 27psi range. Seems like you have a lot of room for further power....Congrats

Thanks to the OP and customer for taking some time to post some pics of The Shop and a favorable review

As for the TQ and WHP - remember this dyno is NOT a Dyno Jet its a Dyno Dynamics and the way it loads the car is different and the dyno figures are different

The Shop and Speed Technik are two seperate operations which are in two buildings located right next to each other - and yes they are both filled with great guys and its a wonderful spirit of co-operation and passion for fine cars in that location

Honestly, I love the GTR, its one elegant sexy machine. A bit out of my price range - but a wonderful machine.
