On one of the threads about the S1's, I asked Greg about cam settings and he suggested just running them straight up at "0". After I get my S1's installed I may try some different settings, but when I get tuned I'll have the settings set straight up for now.

I'm really surprised there is not more discussion on this thread. Maybe because it's the weekend.

Not sure if you ordered the S1's or S2's, but I ordered my S1's on Tuesday and received them on Friday from STikiller.com.

I have an evo 8, so i think they are not on backorder.

I think i just mite have to order these instead of a 264/272 combo... The price is right and midrange powerband is what i'm looking to achieve for track... and street drivability sounds good.... intresting! Thanks for the review!

Installed the s2's on an 06 MR. Install was painless until the tensioner tool decided to break while being removed. Havent hit the dyno yet but these are impressive. Maintains stock idle with just a hint of vacuum loss. I'd say it's a 9 on the **** eating grin scale. A write up will be up as soon as we hit the dyno.

I've gained about 18whp just dropping the S1 cams-no tune

before 293, after 311

Before tune(Jestr rocks!) 311whp/289tq, after tune, 346whp/340tq( )
boost spikes to 24, holds good at 22.5-23

I have
TBE-no cat
Walbro
Hallman MBC
AEM short ram

S1 stays true to its hype!

I'd be interested to see what the numbers would look like compared to the s1's on the same setup (i noticed the old setup and the new were considerably different)

Nice results!

Were you previously flashed or custom tuned before cams? Then custom tuned again after the cams?

This was one a evo 8 or 9? Plus, did you have aftermarket cam gears as well? Just wondering if Jestr played with the settings or just fine tuned the AFR and boost?
