Does anyone have a race gas map from TTP?

Now that I'm flashed by them, I'm thinking of having them do a race map for me as well.

go get on a dyno to see where ur at man... this will give you an idea of the improvements that your current mods and TTP flash gave you. Its easy to get used to the power trust me! Almost like you have to discipline yourself.. from turning up the boost! haha! i wasnt satisfied until i got evidence... which was my dyno run and track times. now im good..

Yea, I see what you're saying bro

I plan on finding a dyno and getting a few pulls and also going to the track to see where I'm at

Did it feel the same for you though? Just felt not much of a difference?

Being happy with a turbo car on 91 octane is like having sex with your sister.
Thats why you build a beefy twin turbo big block that runs on ethonal, and with every 2psi you add you gain 200hp. There is still no replacement for displacement. But trust me, that car will not handle. Lol, plus you need to lay down VHT to get off the line!

honestly, i did bolt ons gradually so everything eventually felt the same, just louder, lol... then i went through, i dunno like 10 flashes or more? w/ each flash the car got quicker, smoother etc... but then i started to get picky because i drove me friend's stock car and mine seemed less behaved at idle and normal driving. I tested out TTP just outta curiousity and the tune was better right off the bat even w/ just the base tune. My dyno#s are from a base TTP tune for my mods of course. I just got re-tuned so im hoping for even better dyno#s next week.

the flash... any proper one, i think will probably in itself give u around 20whp or so.. but you also have to take in consideration how much more boost was added. Its your mods that will open the door for hp... and the tune that unlocks or cleans it up to get you that hp to your wheels... if ya know what i mean?

....and it might just be your car man... Honestly, w all the horror stories ive read about evo8s running full boltons and intake w/ no tune etc... i was worried, but my 9 ran fine w/out a tune. (bolt ons stock boost) but the tune and boost controller is what woke it up... i just re-read ur mods... u should be pretty quick w/ just what u got man... assuming ur boosting around 22psi or more.

I got an IX though, not an 8

Also, I'm only boosting about 20, should I raise the boost?

I believe you both also are using different octane fuels.

That's correct Scott. Unfortunately I'm stuck with the 91 octane.

It just seems that I should raise the boost a little. I mean, I'm BARELY hitting 20.

Can you please PM me so we can maybe fix the tune? Make it a little more aggressive perhaps?

Thanks

You can try bumping it 1-2psi to start.

Won't this affect the tune though? Wouldn't I have to get re tuned?

How about this...I'll go up 2psi and send you a few datalogs, and you can make any adjustments?

yeah, thts what I was sayin... maybe ur 9 adapted well to the mods prior to the flash to begin w.. I have a 9 also and I never experienced any negative effects from not having a tune at first. but it definately made it better. yeah im on 93octane in texas so that prb has alot to do w it.
