Robispec suspension
First of all I let me just say I had a couple of options in where to do my suspension and I'm pretty sure the job would have been done well wherever I would have gone.
I've been talking to Robi at robispec for a couple of weeks on a suspension setup that would be good for me tracking the car maybe a handful of times a year to begin with. He recommended either the V3 or the clubsports which I decided to go with the V3 to start off with along with the advanced suspension service. It all worked out as Robi was offering the wheels I wanted ( BLACK RPF1s).
Well I arrived at Robi's house yesterday morning so that he could do his magic. Let me just say that he is meticulous with his work. Not only that, I had a lot of questions. If I didn't understand something he would explain it to me since I'm pretty new to the turns tracks.
He never rushed the work either though he knows he wasn't going to get any sleep that day or the next because of an upcoming race/commitment.
The car was done in the evening and let me just tell you with just the way the car looked I was happy. The car is on black RPF1s with Nitto 255/40/17s. Obviously the cars fenders were worked a lilltle to fit them and insure no rubbing. He recommended this setup so save me the lessons in what is wrong with my setup.
The ride home was pretty badass but I didn't push it to much cause the car was full of my stock parts including all my wheels in the back seat. Today on the other hand, I played around on the streets a bit and it's the ****. Day and night difference. Very very happy. I'm hoping to take the car to the track next Sunday if my schedule permits.
Let me just say this again, robi took care of my car as if it was his own car. I'm definitely going back to him for more work when the time comes.
If you have any questions PM me and if your interested in some badass suspension visit www.robispec.com
Pictures will be up soon.
By the way, Weinerznitul (sp?) ftw.
And Robi, I never felt like more of a man than driving the HIGH HP MIATA!!!!!!

Sooo...what all did you end up getting...also do you mind me asking what did it run you $$$ Also what springs rates did you decide on. I am looking to upgrade over the winter from my bilsteins and swifts. I am awaiting my response from Robi...he has a long PM waiting for him

KW V3 with the advanced suspension service, black RPF1s ( the finish on these is ****ing badass) 17x10 255/40/17
^^ Yah, even though Robi recommended them, that is an insanely wide wheel for that size tire, and Nittos are notorious for being narrow. I can imagine there is quite a bit of stretch there.

Robi said to start off with these if I decide to go with something later with more power down the line then I can just run bigger. They might be streched a lil.
I was blown away with my V3 streets, and next spring is only going to be more fun with the Clubsports! Kudos to you for choosing the BEST suspension and suspension tuner!

Plus we need you around for the next 80 or 90 years so don't go working yourself to death
