New custom made intercooler from BellIntercoolers.com
As some of you know I'm rebuilding my car again this winter, including a new engine. As I upgrade from a T04Z T3 open scroll to a 42r size T4 twin scroll turbo I also wanted to upgrade to a matching intercooler. This is not as easy as you may think, designing an intercooler is a sciences of it's own and I didn't want to take a chance with a of the shelf general purpose AMS/Buschur/Full-Race/HKS/etc etc unit. So I turned to BellIntercoolers.com and Trey for help. These guys design intercoolers for a living and they do it by calculating your specific engine and what space you got to mount it.
After lot's of calculating, measuring and discussing we had tested eight different designs and was satisfied with the result. About one week later the intercooler was manufactured.
Core size: 28 x 13.5 x 4.5 inch.
Over all size: 44 x 13.5 x 6.3 inch.
Adel Wiggins 3 inch clamps on both sides.
The pictures below don't make it justice, it's much larger than it looks. It's so wide that the in/out-lets comes out one the sides of the U-beam in the front.
This is as you can see not meant for a stock car as you need to remove some parts to fit it, but they can for sure build one for every application!
I hope you guys like what you see and also get your eyes up for BellIntecoolers and there service. Trey is a super nice guy who really gives 110% to help you out. This I must say has been the best experience I've ever had with a US company!

I love how the connections are straight back instead of on the side. That would make life easier. Wouldnt that affect flow though?
Anyway, looks nice, you need to post installed pics asap!
